The prize? A construction excavator will lift, drop, smash, maim, mangle and demolish a minivan painted with the opponent’s team color and logo. The date/time of the grand finale demolition will be announced soon, as will the driver in the cab. Meet our summer interns!

As one of the new interns for Crescent Cove, I had no idea what to expect when I came on board. I first met Katie and Bob through one of my classes at the University St. Thomas – they were a client for a project we were working on. From the moment they came into the classroom and discussed their vision with us, I was captivated. I’ve seen the need for a children’s hospice home, but I had no idea there was such a shortage of them. There was no doubt in my mind; I wanted to become involved with Crescent Cove.

Children’s Lighthouse of Minnesota is now Crescent Cove

We were informed that a Texas-based child care center that owns a U.S. registration for the trademark “Children’s Lighthouse” for use in connection with day care services, will be expanding into the Minnesota market. In light of this fact and in order to avoid possible future confusion between that organization and our distinct mission, it was in our best interest to change our name.
