Our Outdoor Playspace: A Place for our Kids
A space that came to life
In 2021, Crescent Cove completed a project that would be outdoor play and engagement to our Respite & Hospice Home for Kids. Working with many friends and vendors to bring this space to life, the outdoor playspace features our Dragonfly Tower, a custom-designed and built play structure with wheelchair accessibility, a mini-baseball field for running the bases and more, outdoor musical instruments, and a new picnic area. Bordering the playspace is a beautiful greenspace with native plants and trees, all to blend function and nature at Crescent Cove.
The outdoor playspace was designed and implemented by Steven Mastey of Landscape Architecture Inc. See below for a full list of collaborative partners.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on June 24, 2021
On June 24, we were thrilled to welcome guests to Crescent Cove for a special ribbon cutting ceremony to thank and recognize the donors who made this new outdoor space possible. The two-and-half year project was a true community effort and involved hours of visioning, planning, and creating a special place that would serve our kids and families, but also blend in with the special surroundings of our Respite & Hospice Home for Kids.
